Wildflower Seedhead Globe Macro Bokeh Oost Amsterdam

Shot directly overhead, a globe-shaped dried flowerhead — likely Gaillardia or Helenium — fills the square frame with scale-bracts tipped in rust-red against a warm orange-gold core. The texture reads almost as coral or sea creature at this magnification. Shot in Oost Amsterdam on 5 August 2020 with the Nikon D850 and 105mm macro, the soft teal-grey bokeh sets off the organic geometry without competition.
