Amsterdam Canal Lockdown Dramatic Sunset Spring 2020

A sweeping sunset of layered rose, amber, and deep violet lights up the sky above a wide Amsterdam canal during the spring 2020 lockdown, the waterway unusually quiet — cars line the quayside but the streets are empty of people. The canal water mirrors the spectacular sky, turning the entire surface into a luminous band of colour.
