Škofja Loka Castle rises under a full winter moon in this dramatic black-and-white long exposure, its round Renaissance tower and main keep bathed in cold artificial light against a cloud-streaked sky. A dusting of snow covers the courtyard grounds where a small gazebo stands in the foreground. The medieval fortification, founded in the 13th century, has overlooked the Slovenian town of Škofja Loka for over seven centuries.
